Reflections from ComoLake 2025: Innovation with Purpose

Some events go beyond the agenda. They leave a mark. ComoLake 2025 – Digital Innovation Forum, held from October 14–17 at Villa Erba in Cernobbio, was one of those moments for us at Cives.

Being there — surrounded by the calm of Lake Como, the beauty of history, and the energy of people working to shape the future — was a reminder of why we do what we do.

We’re deeply grateful to ComoLake2025 for their generosity and vision. Giving space and visibility to startups like ours isn't just a symbolic gesture — it’s a clear sign that Italy is ready to put innovation to work in service of society.

We were honored to be selected, among a few others, to represent the startup ecosystem in such a meaningful context.

Cives: Not Just a Tech Company

At Cives, we’re often asked what makes us different. The answer is simple: we didn’t start with technology — we started with people.

Our AI-based hybrid meeting platform is designed for public administrations, courts, local governments, civic organizations, and any setting where decisions matter and access must be fair, secure, and inclusive.

But behind the tech, there’s a deeper purpose:

To make sure no one is left behind in the digital transition.

To create tools that restore trust in institutions.

To support a model of governance that is transparent, accessible, and efficient — not someday, but now.

What ComoLake Reminded Us

During the forum, we met public leaders, innovators, researchers, and fellow entrepreneurs who — like us — believe in a human-centered digital transformation. We heard challenges that confirmed we’re on the right path. We felt the weight of responsibility — but also the excitement of possibility.

Most of all, we left with the conviction that technology must always follow vision. And our vision remains unchanged: A society where technology empowers inclusion, where digital public services are a right, not a privilege, and where innovation helps people connect — not just on screens, but in purpose.

Looking Ahead

ComoLake 2025 wasn’t just a showcase for us. It was a moment of clarity. A chance to pause and reflect. A spark that renewed our commitment.
