Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the excellence and reliability of our web-based products. This role requires a strong foundation in Linux operations, web development technologies (particularly JavaScript), database systems like MySQL, and a solid grasp of CI/CD processes. Familiarity with WebEx SDK is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product functionalities and determine test requirements.
  • Utilize knowledge of Linux for testing and troubleshooting purposes in a command-line environment.
  • Test front-end and back-end components developed using JavaScript.
  • Validate database interactions, with a focus on MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Leverage CI/CD methodologies to integrate automated testing in our build and deployment processes.
  • Document test outcomes, report defects, and guide resolution efforts.
  • Communicate effectively in English to coordinate with remote teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role, particularly for web applications.
  • Operational proficiency with Linux systems.
  • Solid understanding of web development languages and frameworks, especially JavaScript.
  • Expertise in working with database technologies, preferably MySQL.
  • Knowledge of WebEx SDK is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
